Lana Krautkremer of College of Saint Benedict Soccer have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, according to an announcement Tuesday (Nov. 15).
The 2022 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
For each of the soccer standouts at CSB, this is their first Academic All-District honor. With four recognized, it represents the highest total of academic all-district honorees in program history.
Conners, Miller,
Kahlmeyer and
Krautkremer helped lead the Bennies squad to an overall record of 12-5-2 and an 8-2-1
MIAC mark, which placed CSB second. As a result, St. Ben's earned the No. 2 seed in the league tournament and were ranked as high as sixth in the regional rankings.
Conners, who is a nursing major from Lake Elmo, Minn., started in all 19 matches and played 1075.60 minutes while tallying six goals and four assists for 16 points. She recorded 23 shots, including 17 on goal, and had a game-winning score.
Conners, who was named CSB Athlete of the Week on Oct. 4, ranked ninth in goals, and 10
th in assists in the
MIAC. In her career, she has played in 35 matches, making 25 starts, played 1847.23 minutes, with eight goals, seven assists, 23 points, and 42 shots, including 29 on goal.
Kahlmeyer, who is a senior elementary education major from
Chanhassen, Minn., ranked as one of the best goalies in the
MIAC in 2022. She led the league in goals against average and ranked 61
st in
DIII at .712. She was second in the league and 67
th in DII with a save percentage of .839. In 19 matches, she made 12 starts and played in 1,138:25 minutes.
Kahlmeyer allowed just nine goals while recording 47 saves with a 6-3-2 record and two shutouts. Over her career, the senior played in 46 matches with 28 starts. She accumulated 2,746:46 minutes in goal with 32 goals allowed and 1.05 goals against average. She totaled 144 saves and had a 14-7-4 career record.
Miller, who is a senior elementary education major from St. Michael, Minn., also earned
All-MIAC Playoff Team honors. Miller had six starts in 18 matches this year with 755 minutes played. A standout on defense, Miller totaled three goals and six points with 13 shots including eight on goal. The senior scored goals in three of the final matches of the season including a 3-1 win over
Macalester on Oct. 22, a goal in a 2-2 tie against Carleton on Oct. 29 and the goal in the
MIAC semifinals against St. Catherine. She finished her career with three goals and three assists for nine points. In her career she had 26 shots with 12 on goal.
Krautkremer, a junior nursing major from New Elm, Minn., played 19 games with eight starts this year. She had three goals scored with two assists and eight points. She finished with 15 shots on goal. In her career, she has started nine matches with 43 games played for 1,443:51 minutes.
Krautkremer has five career goals, and two assists for 12 points. She has made 43 shots with 22 on goals and had a game-winning kick in her career.
