ST. JOSEPH, MINN. -- The College of Saint Benedict Soccer Team (11-5, 7-2, 2nd, MIAC), which has won nine of its last 11 matches, will wrap up the regular season home schedule by hosting St. Scholastica (2-9-5, 1-5-3, MIAC) in MIAC action on Tuesday, Oct. 25 with a 3:30 pm start time at CSB Soccer Field.
CSB, which was No. 7 in the United Soccer Coaches regional rankings on Oct. 18, was listed in the NCAA DIII first regional rankings last Wednesday. At 11-5 overall, CSB, directed by Head Coach
Steve Kimble, has recorded its 12th winning season in the past 14 years with an eighth 10-win campaign.

On Oct. 29, CSB will travel to Carleton College to wrap up the regular season and the MIAC schedule at 1:00 p.m. Then, CSB will play in the MIAC Tournament, which begins on Nov. 1.
CSB is ranked in the NCAA Region rankings and sits 2nd in MIAC
Over the last 11 matches, CSB, which was ranked in the most recent NCAA regional rankings on Oct. 19, has nine wins and a goal differential of 29-6 with five shutouts. In the MIAC, CSB is second and a half-game ahead of St. Olaf and St. Catherine at 6-2-1. In 2022, the Bennies have registered its 26th overall (since 1984) winning season.
This year, CSB is averaging 2.25 goals per match, second in the MIAC, and allowing .75 for a 1.50 margin, also second in the league. CSB has scored 36 goals and delivered 245 shots. CSB's shot accuracy of 0.612 is 36th in NCAA DIII and first in the league. The Bennies also ranked 42
nd in DIII and second in the MIAC in save percentage at 0.857.
Sophomore
Alli Voss is tied for the league lead in goals scored with 11 while her five-game-winning goals is the most in the MIAC and No. 11 in NCAA DIII. She is the league leader in points with 25. Voss is ranked 13
th in DIII and first in the MIAC in shot accuracy at 0.738.
Caralyn Conners has 17 points (8
th, MIAC) and six goals, which is tied for the eighth best total in the league. With five assists, she ranks fifth in the MIAC. In goal,
Annie Waters is 5-2 with 27 saves while
Paige Kahlmeyer is 6-3 with 43 saves. Kahlmeyer ranks first in the MIAC and 34
th in NCAA DIII in goals against average at .544 while her save percentage of 0.878 is 24
th in DIII and first in the MIAC.
St. Scholastica is 1-2-2 over its last five matches
St. Scholastic enters play today with a 2-9-5 (1-5-3, MIAC) record and stand 1-2-2 over the last five matches. The Saints average 0.81 goals per match and allows just 1.94. The Saints have scored 13 goals and permitted 31 in 16 matches. Kaitlyn Sautter has six goals and 15 points to lead the Saints.
Series Notes – Bennies lead, 3-0
In the last meeting between CSB and St. Scholastica, the Bennies record a 2-1 win on Oct. 27 in Duluth, Minn. All-time CSB has a 3-0 advantage. In the first ever meeting in 1991, the Bennies won 10-0, and had a 5-0 win in 2005 with both matches in St. Joseph, Minn.

The Bennies, which has opened 2022 with 11 wins in 16 matches, have finished in the top four in eight of Kimble's 13 seasons. Kimble, who also serves as Assistant Athletic Director at CSB, is 139-76-26 overall at Saint Benedict with an 88-42-12 mark in conference play. CSB has recorded winning seasons in 12 of his 14 years with the program and has finished the year with a winning record 32 of the past 34 years. In his 14
th season, Kimble has coached three All-Americans, two MIAC Players of the Year, one MIAC Rookie of the Year, 18 All-Region athletes, 29 All-MIAC athletes and 19 All-MIAC Honorable Mention selections.
