ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - College of Saint Benedict soccer first-year Eva Gower (Plymouth, Minn./Orono) earned The House / St. Cloud Orthopedics CSB Athlete of the Week Tuesday, Sept. 8.  

 

Gower helped the Bennies offense post a 3-0 opening week, marking the best start since 2017. The first-year posted two goals and an assist over 165 minutes of action, totaling five points. Of her 13 shots, seven were on goal.  

 

In the 2-1 win at Wartburg College Saturday night, Sept. 5, Gower registered her first collegiate assist. The Plymouth, Minn. native followed with her first career goal at Central College Sunday, Sept. 6. Gower tacked on one more score in the contest, securing her first collegiate brace, as the Bennies blanked the Dutch, 3-nil.  

 

Gower and CSB return to action Saturday, Sept. 12, for a 5 p.m. match at University of Wisconsin-Stout.
