Miller's late goal secures win over Concordia

Although the Bennies didn't quite have the explosive offensive game like they did over the weekend against Gustavus, they still brought home another MIAC win over Concordia this evening.

CSB had multiple attempts to score and ended the first half with 6 shots on net but could not capitalize on the chances. Paige Kahlmeyer started in goal for CSB and record two saves in the first half.

In the second half, the Bennies would have fans holding their breaths until the final 15 minutes of the game before Chloe Miller scored the game winning goal and her first goal of the season with the assist from Alli Voss to secure the win for CSB soccer.

Annie Waters was in net for the second half and recorded four saves. CSB had a total of 13 shots from eight different players, Caralyn Conners had a team-high 5 shots during the game.

Saint Benedict will be back at home this weekend on Saturday, Oct. 2nd taking on the Augsburg Auggies at 3:30 p.m. and then at home again the following Saturday, Oct. 9th to take on St. Olaf.
