College of Saint Benedict

2024-25: Senior Annie Waters started in 16 of 17 games. She had 85 saves and 16 goals allowed giving her a save percentage of 0.842. Waters has a 3-8-3 record and also has 4 shut outs this season. Annie was recognized as MIAC athlete of the week during the week of September 9th, along with earning the Academic All MIAC Award. Waters ends her career with 214 saves and 40 goals allowed, leaving her with a career 0.843 SV% overall. 
 
2023-24: Waters earned the Academic All MIAC Award and the All Conference Honorable Mention Award. She played in 14 games, starting in all of those. She had 1214 minutes. She holds 51 saves, and 11 goals allowed for a .823 save percentage. She had a record of 8-4-2.  

2022-23: Annie earned Academic All-MIAC and played in 13 games, starting in 7. She recorded 31 saves(.861), only allowing 5 goals (0.81/game), and recorded 6-2 win loss record. She played 555 minutes.

2021-22: Waters played in at least one half of all 18 games in her first year and made a career-high seven saves against Central (IA) to keep a 0-0 shutout 2OT tie. She tied for third in the MIAC for goals against with 8 total and was fifth in the MIAC for goals against average with a 0.86. She finished 5-2-2 and recorded 47 saves. Annie was named CSB Athlete of the Week (9/20/21)

High School: Waters is the 2021 graduate of Lakeville North High School. She kept busy by competing in varsity soccer for five years. While playing soccer, she won many awards including Academic Gold Excellence, Rookie of the year, All Conference, MVP, and team captain. She also participated in her club soccer teams, Dakota Rev, Salvo, and St. Croix. Her proudest moment in her career was saving three out of five shots in a shoot out to send her team to state. 

Personal: Annie is the daughter of Barb and Merle Waters. She has one sibling named Molly. In her free time, she enjoys soccer, being apart of a cappella group, and Student Council President. She is most excited to be a collegiate student-athlete because of the ability to keep playing the game she loves while also receiving a good education. Annie's major is in elementary education and exercise science.
