EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – CSB golf sits in first place out of seven teams and two Bennie golfers card career best rounds after day one of the Georgianni Invite hosted by UW-Eau Claire. The Bennies shot a first round total of 316, leading Bethel by five strokes.
Senior Grace Hillemeier and sophomore Emily Renner card matching career best round 75's and both are tied for third going into Sunday.
First year Georgia Hinton carded an 82 on day one and sits tied for 14th, first year Sami Boerboom is tied for 16th with a first round 84, and first year Halle Strunk carded an 85 to round out the scoring for the Bennies and sits tied for 20th.
Augsburg's Emily Kraft leads the individual race, shooting a 73 and UW-Eau Claire's Lexi Meade sits in second place with a first round 74.
The second and final round of the Georgianni Invite will be held at Eau Claire Golf and Country Club on Sunday afternoon.
