About the Saints
The Saints have had a tough start to their 2021 season, sitting with an 0-5 record to start and missing some nonconference play due to a cancelled tournament early in the season. Their last match was against the 11th-ranked UW-Eau Claire Blugolds and they fell 3-0. Junior Jessica Remer leads the team with 54 kills with help of 120 assists from Junior Katie Brostrom. Junior Alcia Draper leads in digs with 106. Saturday's game marks the third MIAC game in program history for Scholastica, which officially joined the conference this fall.

Last Meeting
The last time these two teams met was back in October of 2019 where CSB took a 3-1 victory over the Saints. The Bennies won 25-16, 22-25, 25-18 and 25-20. Mary Wenisch had two aces and three assists in their win. CSB is 16-4 against the Saints all-time, and Saturday's contest marks the first time the two teams will compete in MIAC play.

The Storyline
Though Bethel proved to be a tough opponent, the Bennies didn't let that stop their grit and determination. CSB battled to very close first and third set against the Royals but ultimately would fell 3-0 at the end of the night. Gabby Heying had 12 kills and 13 digs, Payton Marker had 17 assists and Mary Wenisch had 19 digs. The Bennies look to bounce back after that loss and pick up their first conference win of the season.

Who to Watch
Heying leads the CSB offense with 156 kills and Marker still leads in assists with 211. Audrey Spolidoro trails just behind her with 173 assists. On the defensive side, Wenisch leads the team in digs with 184. Madelyn Gregory leads the team with 21 blocks.
