ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team is back home for a nonconference match after losing 3-1 on the road to Augsburg on Wednesday. CSB hosts Luther College for a 3 p.m. contest Saturday, Oct. 14, in Claire Lynch Hall.
About the Norse
Luther is 13-8 overall and 2-1in away games. The Norse are on a two-game winning streak heading into Saturday's game. Natalie Cote leads the team with 340 digs. Sam Sixta has 763 assists this season. Anna Larson leads the team with 228 kills, followed by Emma Veum with 224 kills and 56 total blocks.
Last Meeting
Luther took home a 3-1 victory against Saint Benedict last season on Sept. 16 in a nonconference match in Waverly, Iowa. Three of the four sets were decided by two points.
Megan Pekarek finished the night with 36 assists,

The Storyline
CSB has an overall record of 12-8 and has won seven of its last nine games. Back at home, the team looks to stay undefeated in Claire Lynch. CSB resumes MIAC action against St. Olaf College on Oct. 20. CSB has just four more conference games on its schedule, so the team – which is currently tied for fourth – looks to use every opportunity it has to stay at the top of the MIAC standings.
