ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict hockey team was scheduled to play a pair of MIAC contests this weekend, but winter weather and poor road conditions changed that to a single game this weekend.
CSB was scheduled to host Hamline Friday, Nov. 18, but that game was postponed due to deteriorating road conditions. A makeup date has not been set. The two teams are still scheduled to play at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 in St. Paul; a final decision will be made Saturday morning.

The Storyline

Saint Benedict was picked to finish eighth again this season in the MIAC preseason poll. The Blazers are coming off two losses against Concordia College on Nov. 11-12. After scoring 22 goals through four games, the Blazers look to keep scoring against a Hamline team that held the Blazers to one goal last year. Heading into the weekend, Hamline is the second-most penalized team in Division III and CSB comes in ninth.
