ResultsST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict tennis team powered through windy conditions Sunday morning to defeat Saint Mary's 7-2 in a MIAC tennis match in St. Joseph, Minn. 
The win marks the fifth straight for the Blazers, who are now 7-8 overall and 4-2 in the MIAC. Saint Mary's is 8-6 overall and 3-5 in the conference. 
CSB, which is 4-2 at home, swept the doubles competition to start the match. 
Daley Rupar and 
Rachel Raden teamed up to beat Kirsten Hoffman and Katie Krull 8-6 at No. 1 doubles. 
Laura Finn and Victora Beach defeated Megan Vandenberg and Ashley Syed 8-3 at No. 2 doubles, and 
Taylor Kraemer and 
Cassy Finn won 8-5 over Haley Jorgensen and Stacey Buss at No. 3 doubles. 
The Blazers continued the strong match with four wins in singles play. Rupar defeated Hoffman 6-4, 7-5 at No. 1 singles, and 
Laura Finn came through with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Krull at No. 2 singles. Beach won a super tiebreaker 6-1, 2-6, 10-5 at No. 3 singles, and 
Ellen Stensrud picked up the Blazers' seventh win of the day at No. 6 singles when she beat Buss 6-3, 6-3. 
Kraemer fell 7-5, 6-4 at No. 4 singles and Raden lost 4-6, 6-2, 10-2 at No. 5 singles. 
The Blazers are home one more time this season when they host St. Olaf at noon Saturday, April 18, at the courts on the CSB campus. Saint Benedict has just four matches remaining in the regular season.
