Live StatsST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team has won four consecutive games after a 3-1 win over Gustavus on Saturday, Oct. 25. This improved the Blazers' record to 18-8 as they head into their last home game of the regular season against Hamline at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29 in Claire Lynch Hall.
About the Pipers: After starting the season with an 8-0 overall record, the Pipers dropped three of their next four games. They will be heading into their matchup against the Blazers with six consecutive losses and will be looking to get more conference wins before the end of the season.
Last Year: In the last time these two teams played, the Blazers took a 3-0 sweep at home in the first game of last season's MIAC Tournament. In this matchup, the Blazers took the first two sets by a score of 25-19. They followed this with another 25-16 win in the third set to take the win.
Lexi Rinde finished the night with 10 kills while
Sophie Stangl and
Mary Franz each added six more.
Victoria Nass led the defense with 18 digs and Franz totaled eight blocks on the night.
The Storyline: The Blazers have won six of their last seven games and sit with a conference record of 7-2. Only Augsburg and St. Thomas have more conference record wins, but with two more conference games remaining, the Blazers still have time to move up from No. 3 in the MIAC.

Taya Kockelman leads the MIAC with a hitting percentage of .374 and 11.10 assists per set. Also, she is third in the MIAC with 0.46 service aces per set.
Victoria Nass leads the defense and is also third in the MIAC with 461 digs this season and
Mary Franz has a total of 76 blocks.
Last Time Out: In their last time out, the Blazers took a 3-1 win over Gustavus on the road to improve their away record to 5-1. After an early 25-18 win in the first set, the Blazers suffered a 20-25 loss in the second. From here, the Blazers finished tough with a 25-17 win followed by another 25-16 win in the fourth and final set.
Laura Schmitt led the offense with 16 kills and Stangl and Rinde added another 10 kills each. Schmitt also led the Blazer's defense with 16 digs while
Victoria Nass added another 14.
