2013: Ranked 49th in the nation with 1.02 blocks per set ... ranked third in the MIAC with 1.02 blocks per set ... fifth in the MIAC with 82 block assists ... sixth in the MIAC with 92 total blocks ... led the team in solo blocks (10), blocks assists (85), and total blocks (95) ... led the team with 1.02 blocks per set ... set new career high with 8 blocks on Oct. 23 and Nov. 5, both against Hamline ... hit a season-high 12 kills against Whitman on Sept. 7 ... recorded 182 kills ... notched 9 digs.
2012: Sat out the season with an injury.
High School: A 2012 graduate of Holy Family High School, Franz was coached by Trisha Kroll and participated in volleyball (four years) and basketball (one year). Franz earned all-state honorable mention in volleyball and holds the school record for most blocks in a season. She was named captain her senior season and is a two time all-state team selection.
Personal: Franz is the daughter of Maria and Earl Franz of Broomfield, Colo. She enjoys camping, boating, biking, ceramics, and football. Franz is majoring in nursing.
