2014: Named the team's Co-Best Offensive Player ... finished eighth in the MIAC with a .289 hitting percentage ... hit 260 kills ... averaged 2.50 kills per set ... picked up 51 total blocks ... finished second on the team with 0.49 blocks per set ... compiled 23 digs ... recorded 10-plus kills 11 times.

2013: Ranked sixth in the MIAC with a .307 hitting percentage ... ... played in 98 sets for CSB ... had a career-high eight blocks Oct. 29 against Macalester ... had 220 kills ... compiled 62 total blocks ... recorded 13 solo blocks ... had one assist.

2012: MIAC Hitter of the Week on Sept. 17 … finished fifth in the MIAC in kills with 344 … career-high 19 kills against Bethel on Oct. 24 … appeared in 123 sets for the Blazers … notched four assists … had 63 digs … picked up 83 blocks.

2011: Appeared in 24 sets for Saint Benedict … compiled 21 kills and three set assists … notched one dig.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Buffalo High School, Stangl was coached by Michelle Macalena.  She participated in volleyball (four years), track and field (four years) and basketball (two years) during her athletic career at Buffalo.  She was All-Conference and Academic All-Conference in both volleyball and track.  Stangl was also a state basketball participant.  She served as captain for the volleyball and track teams.

Personal: Stangl is the daughter of Mandy and John Stangl of Buffalo, Minn.  She enjoys volleyball, track and field, scuba diving and reading. Stangl is majoring in Individualized Natural Science - Integrative Health Science with minors in pre-dentistry and Hispanic Studies.
