Blazers Heading West:Â After taking first place in the CSB Labor Day Tournament last weekend, with four consecutive sweeps, Saint Benedict heads out to the Whit Classic Tournament in Spokane, Wash. The Blazers look to keep their undefeated record as they head west as the highest ranked team in the tournament.
Â
About the Whitworth Invitational:Â The Blazers start off the tournament with a match against the 2-2
St. Scholastica Saints today (Sept 6) at 2 p.m. They will then play their second and last game of the night against
Whitworth at 7 p.m., who are coming off their first win of the season and currently stand 1-3 overall. Tomorrow, the Blazers face off against
Whitman College at 2 p.m. They are also coming off their first win of the season and have an overall record of 1-4. The Blazers will then go on to play a final game later that day, with their opponent determined by the team's record after round robin play.
Â
The Storyline:Â The Blazers come to this tournament with a 5-0 record and sit at the top of the standings before the games have started.
