Last Time Out
After a fourth place finish in the Augsburg Invitational, Saint Benedict adds another home win to their record, beating out Augsburg in a five set match last Wednesday.  They started out winning the first two sets but failed to put away the third win until the fifth set.

In the first set, the Blazers jumped ahead to a 5-0 lead and kept a significant lead all the way until the end, winning 25-15. The second set, Augsburg took an early lead 6-1 and kept the lead almost the whole game until the Blazers came back and tied the game at 19. The Blazers rallied and took the second game 25-23. Augsburg took a 10-3 lead early in the 3rd set and never lost the lead winning 25-18. In the fourth set, the Blazers went down 9-3 early in the game and the Auggies kept the lead winning 25-18 again.

The fifth set stayed close early in the match until the Blazers pulled away with a 10-5 lead and went on to take the set 15-8 and beat the Auggies 3-2.
