About Augsburg:
Picked just sixth in the MIAC preseason poll, the Auggies have gotten off to a hot start, including a perfect 4-0 mark at the Augsburg Invite last weekend. Three of those wins came over 2011 NCAA Tournament teams Northwestern, St. Scholastica and UW-Stevens Point. After a loss in the season opener, they have won seven of eight heading into tonight. This comes off a fifth place MIAC finish last season, where they were behind four NCAA Tournament teams.

Last Season:
These two teams met just once last season, with the Blazers taking a 3-1 win from the Auggies in Minneapolis. Also in the MIAC opener, CSB took a marathon first set 32-30 and went on to take a two-set lead before Augsburg won the third. In the fourth, the Blazers hit a blazing .423, with just two errors, to take the match.

League Leaders:
The Blazers Victoria Nass leads the MIAC in digs at 6.39 per set, while Lexi Alm is second in kills at 3.70 per set.

Top-25:
After jumping into the top-25, the Blazers just missed the cut yesterday after a 2-3 mark last week. The Blazers were the first team off the poll, just five points shy of the 25th spot.

Road Warriors:
The Blazers return to tournament play this weekend, hitting the road for their longest road trip of the season. Beginning on Friday they play the Simpson Invitational in Indianola, Iowa. They'll open with Coe and Simpson, before taking on Nebraska Wesleyan and Grinnell on Saturday. By Sept. 15, CSB will have played 12 of 14 games away from home.
