The Blazer tennis team wrapped up their regular season on Friday with a 9-0 win over Hamline on their home court. The Blazers played five of their seniors and had plenty to celebrate over a Hamline team that was a bit short-handed with a few injuries on the roster.

Saint Benedict jumped out to a 3-0 lead in doubles, led by a perfect 8-0 win at three doubles by MacKenzie Rayman (Burnsville, MN, Apple Valley) and Jamie Hoffman (Bemidji, MN, Bemidji)

In singles, the Blazers continued to show their experience over a very young Hamline team as they played consistent tennis all the way through the line-up. Sarah Rossman (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) and Megan Seipel (New London, MN, New London-Spicer)both had perfect 6-0, 6-0 victories to lead the way.

The Blazers advance to the MIAC championships next weekend, their opponent is yet to be determined and is depending on the outcome of several MIAC matches left to be played over the weekend.
