The Blazers bounce back quickly and added another win of 6-3 to their record after their match with St. Mary's Saturday Mar. 31

Blazers took a 2-1 lead coming out of doubles thanks to another strong performance by
Megan Seipel (New London, MN, New London-Spicer) and
Lauren Jones (Ogden, UT, Saint Joseph Catholic). They
improved to 3-0 as a doubles team with their 3rd consecutive MIAC win together.
Alicia Vargas (Coon Rapids, MN, Coon Rapids) and
Jamie Hoffman (Bemidji, MN, Bemidji) also won their 3rd consecutive MIAC match with a strong performance as well.
In singles,
Taylor Reiner (Darwin, MN, Hutchinson) picked up the first MIAC singles victory of her career as well as the decisive fifth point to seal the victory for us. She dominated her opponent with consistent groundstrokes and a big serve. Also helping the Blazers to victory was
Sarah Rossman (Rochester, MN, Lourdes), picking up her first MIAC singles win with a very strong performance at #3.
Megan Seipel (New London, MN, New London-Spicer) and
Alicia Vargas each improved to a perfect 4-0 in the MIAC with straight set wins. Alicia had to come back from an early 3-0 deficit to claim the first set 7-5. She then opened things up in the second set and wrapped up the win with a 6-0 performance.
Alyson Brandell (Elk River, MN, Elk River) and
Lauren Jones ran into two outstanding players from St Mary's at 1 and 2 singles. Lauren fought back from a 4-1 deficit in the second set, closing the gap to 5-4 before falling just short.
The Blazers next match will be against Bethel on Monday April 2
nd in St. Paul.
