Sophomores Megan Smith (Lakeville, MN, Lakeville North) and Caitlin Goodman (Eugene, OR, South Eugene) and senior Stephani Seymour (Plymouth, MN, Wayzata) led the CSB nordic ski team by posting scores in both the freestyle and classic races in Houghton, Michigan.  The trio collected 29 points in the freestyle race and 35 points in the classic race.  University of Alaska-Fairbanks won the freestyle race with 76 points and the classic race with 81 points.

In the freestyle race, Smith finished 23rd with a time of 16:05.1 for 15 points.  Goodman was next for the Blazers, finishing 33rd with a time of 16:49.6 for 9 points, and Seymour collected 5 points for CSB with a 41st place finish with a time of 17:05.7.

In the classic race, Smith recorded a 10th place finish (34:22.0), Goodman finished 33rd (37:06.6), and Seymour came in 43rd overall (39:03.9).  Smith, Goodman, and Seymour colelcted 21, 9, and 5 points respectively.

The Blazers will participate in the American Birkenbeiner in Cable, WI on Saturday, February 26th.
