When asked about the game, head coach
Steve Kimble said, "Eau claire was a very athletic team. We came out a little run down after our double OT game against St. Olaf on Saturday. We picked up steam in the second half and played with Eau Claire 1-1. However, after their first half effort of three goals it was too little too late. Eau Claire is a very good team that will finish at or near the top of the WIAC."
Sain Benedict hosts MIAC opponent Gustavus Adolphus College (4-3 overall, 0-2 MIAC) on Saturday, September 25th, at 1 pm in St. Joseph, MN.
