High School: A 2007 graduate of Mankato Loyola High School, Willaert was coached by John Dickerman … participated in soccer (six years), basketball (four years), track and field (two years) and softball (one year) during her athletic career at Mankato Loyola … five-time All-City soccer player … awarded MVP honors for both soccer and basketball … holds the assists and goals records in soccer at Mankato Loyola … also is the scoring and rebounding leader at Mankato Loyola … awarded All-City honors in basketball … captained her soccer and basketball teams … awarded Academic All-State honors in softball … member of the Mankato Loyola softball team that placed third in the State Class A Softball Tournament … member of two Crusader soccer teams that were awarded Academic All-State honors.  

Personal: Daughter of Jan and Jeff Willaert of North Mankato, Minn. … brother Dan is a 2006 graduate of Saint John’s University and former All-American wrestler for the Johnnies … brother Tony (Class of 2011) is a senior at Saint John’s University … mother Jan attended the College of Saint Benedict … enjoys rollerblading, golfing, watching baseball and spending time with my friends … majoring in psychology with a minor in history.

What is your proudest moment of your career?  
When our team qualified for nationals in 2007.

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? 
The opportunity to be part of the Blazer community is phenomenal. You are placed in a family of women striving to improve themselves as athletes and people on a daily basis. The amount of people who care and have an invested interest in you is rare and one of a kind.
