The College of Saint Benedict Blazer tennis team (6-3 MIAC, 11-5 overall) clinched a berth to the MIAC Playoffs with a 9-0 sweep of Bethel (0-9, 3-14 overall) in St. Paul, MN on Saturday afternoon.

Kylie Huether (Sioux Falls, SD , Washington) and
Alyson Brandell (Elk River, MN, Elk River) won 8-3 over Ashley Dohlen and Carrie Kishaba, and
Katie Rudnitski (Gilman, MN, Foley) and
Sarah Rossman (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) slipped past Krista Naumen and Ashley Watts 8-5.
The Blazers earned tough victories at #5 and #6 singles, as Brandell fought back to win 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 against Ashley Watts and Rossman held on against Kishaba to clinch 6-2, 7-5 win. Tiegs, Huether, junior
