Box Score

The College of Saint Benedict Blazer tennis team (4-3 MIAC, 9-5 overall) failed to claim any victories against conference rival St. Olaf (6-2 MIAC, 7-3 overall) in a 9-0 loss this afternoon in Northfield, MN.

After the Blazers lost their #1 and #3 doubles matches handedly, junior Kylie Huether (Sioux Falls, SD , Washington) and sophomore Alyson Brandell (Elk River, MN, Elk River) couldn't quite usurp St. Olaf's Caitlyn Harper and Aimee Ny and eventually lost 9-8 (7-4).

Saint Benedict's #4 singles player Elissa Husby (Duluth, MN, Marshall) and Alyson Brandell (Elk River, MN, Elk River) at #6 pushed their respective matches to the limit but were unable to capitalize against Claire Carlson and Sarah Carlson. Senior Rachel Tiegs (Rochester, MN, Lourdes), Huether, senior Katie Rudnitski (Gilman, MN, Foley), and sophomore Lauren Jones (Ogden, UT, Saint Joseph Catholic) each fell in their singles contests and were unable to turn back the Oles.

CSB will make up their postponed match against Concordia on Wednesday, April 21st at 3 pm in St. Joseph, MN.
