The College of Saint Benedict Blazer tennis team (2-1 MIAC, 6-2 overall) won a 7-2 contest against MIAC rival Macalester (1-4 MIAC, 9-5 overall) in St. Paul, MN on Sunday afternoon. 

The Blazers won all three doubles matches against the Scots, as Rachel Tiegs (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) and Lauren Jones (Ogden, UT, Saint Joseph Catholic) defeated Steph Lee and Abby Citrin 8-5, Kylie Huether (Sioux Falls, SD , Washington) and Alyson Brandell (Elk River, MN, Elk River) won 8-2 against Amanda Wenzel and Paige Schaefer, and Katie Rudnitski (Gilman, MN, Foley) and Sarah Rossman (Rochester, MN, Lourdes) prevailed 8-4 over Maggie Vargo and Lucy Minor. 

Saint Benedict was able to wrap up the conference win thanks to four singles victories, including victories by #1 Tiegs (6-3, 6-4), #2 Huether (7-5, 7-0), #5 Jones (6-3, 6-3) and #6 Brandell (6-1, 6-4).
