The College of Saint Benedict Blazer tennis team (0-1 MIAC, 1-1 overall) lost a close match to St. Thomas (1-0 MIAC, 1-1 overall) 5-4 in St. Paul, MN. Saint Benedict fell into an early 1-2 deficit after doubles competition, only receiving a win from the #2 team of Kylie Huether and Megan Seipel. 

The Blazers made a comeback by gaining victories at #2, #3 and #4 singles from Huether, Katie Rudnitski and Elissa Husby, respectively. Despite these key wins, they were unable to win the MIAC opener by losing at #1, #5 and #6 singles. 

CSB next travels to Puerto Rico for three matches between Sunday, February 28 and Thursday, March 4.
