The game remained scoreless through the first half and the shots were even at three a piece. Less than two minutes into the second half the Blazers opened the scoring on a goal from junior forward
Heather Beshears (Maple Grove, MN, Maple Grove). Beshears connected on a pass from senior midfield
Emily Willaert (North Mankato, MN, Mankato Loyola). Twelve minutes later Beshears put the Blazers up by two with her second goal of the game. The assist went to Willaert. Four minutes later, Saint Mary's senior forward Amy Sibik brought the Blazers lead to one on an unassisted goal.
