The College of Saint Benedict Blazers (7-4 MIAC, 13-5 overall) defeated the Concordia-Moorhead College Cobbers (6-3-2 MIAC, 11-4-3 overall) 1-0 in their final game of the season today.   The Blazers were eliminated from earning a MIAC playoff spot but were able to end the season on a winning note.

Scoring for the Blazers was senior Leah Schleppegrell (Hibbing, MN, Hibbing).  Schleppegrell knocked back the goalie's kick for the Blazer goal at the 36:45 mark.  Junior goalkeeper Shannon Strohm (Burnsville, MN, Apple Valley )rejected an impressive nine shots on goal.  The Blazers played hard until the final seconds of the game to prevent any late half goals.  

The Blazers sent off 10 seniors that will be greatly missed.
