The College of Saint Benedict Blazers (6-4 MIAC, 12-5 overall) were defeated by the host, the Augsburg College Auggies (5-1-4 MIAC, 10-3-4 overall) today 0-1 in a MIAC battle.  Augsburg scored off a corner- kick fourteen minutes into the first half.

Sophomore goalkeeper Maija Schmelzer (Rochester, MN, John Marshall)had six saves for the Blazers, and sophomore Chelsi Larson (Minnesota City, MN, Winona Cotter )led the Blazer offense with three shots.  "We had a couple of chances at the end." Coach Kate McNeil said.  "We will move on and prepare for our last game of the regular season on Saturday."

The Blazers will take on the Concordia-Moorhead Cobbers this Saturday, November 1, at noon in St. Joseph, Minn.
