2019: OUTDOOR: Competed in four meets as a senior ... finished 25th in the 1,500 at the Manitou Classic ... INDOOR: did not compete.

2018: Studied abroad and did not compete.

2017: OUTDOOR ... did not compete due to injury ... INDOOR ... qualified for the conference meet in the mile and finished in the top 20 ... ran a career-best mile time in 5:30.32 at the St. Olaf Women's Invite ... also ran a career-best 3K 11:15.07 at the CSB|SJU Alum Meet.

2016: OUTDOOR ... qualified for the conference championships in the steeplechase ... took fifth in the steeplechase at Macalester ... recorded a season-best of 12:26.21 at Macalester ... INDOOR ... took fourth in the 3K at the CSB|SJU Invite ... recorded a season-best mile time of 5:50.37 at the Alumnae Meet.

High School: A 2015 graduate of Eden Prairie High School, Nelson participated in cross country, track and Nordic skiing for four years. She was the cross country team captain as a senior, and earned all-conference and academic all-state honors in Nordic skiing as a senior.

Personal: Nelson is the daughter of Cathy and Ron Nelson and she has one brother, Andrew. She enjoys running and Nordic skiing and is undecided on a major. Nelson also runs on the CSB cross country team.
