Biography

2019: Qualified for the MIAC Championships in the shot put and finished 15th ... competed in all four throwing events (shot, hammer, discus, javelin) throughout the season ... recorded four top-10 finishes in the shot put ... INDOOR: finished 12th in the shot put at the conference meet ... recorded the eighth-best mark in CSB indoor history at the Hamster Invite ... recorded six top-10 finishes.

High School: McCollum is a 2018 graduate of Park Rapids Area High School. She competed in volleyball for four years, basketball for five years and track and field for six years. McCollum earned all-conference in track and field from 2015-17, Section Champion in shot put and the 4x200-meter relay in 2016, took fourth at state in the shot put in 2016 and sixth at state in shot put in 2017. Her proudest moment was placing fourth in shot put at state her sophomore year of high school.
 
Personal: Jaiden is the daughter of Kim and Jason McCollum. Outside of throwing, Jaiden enjoys reading, playing sports and shopping. She plans to pursue an accounting major. Â
