Nikki Fokken '18 is back for her third season as one of the CSB's strength and conditioning coaches in 2020-21. Fokken - a 2018 CSB grad who competed in both basketball and track and field for four years - works with John Pollack to develop and implement training plans for out-of-season athletes in the fall and winter seasons.
Fokken qualified for the MIAC Championships four times in the outdoor season and twice in indoor. She earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention twice in the javelin outdoors and twice in the high jump indoors. She graduated with the eighth-best indoor high jump mark in program history, the fifth-best outdoor high jump mark and the third-best javelin mark in program history.
Fokken also had a successful career with the CSB basketball team. She earned D3hoops.com All-Central Region Third Team honors as a senior after becoming the 19th CSB basketball player to score 1,000 points in her career. She earned All-MIAC First Team honors three of her four years with the program, and All-MIAC Defensive Team honors as a senior. Fokken also earned a spot on the All-MIAC First Year Team in 2014-15.
A Pine Island native, Fokken graduated in 2018 with a degree in nutrition. She is currently employed at Orange Theory Fitness in St. Cloud.Â
