Christian Smith-Season-Career Results 

2024: INDOOR: Competed in five meets, recording three top-eight finishes … competed in the MIAC Indoor Championships in the shot put with a mark of 9.83m (32’3.25”) ... set a career-best in the weight throw with a mark of 10.70m (35’1.5”) at the Cobber Indoor Open … took 7^th place in the weight throw (10.13m) (33’3”) and 8^th place in the shot put (9.61m) (31’6.5”) at the CSB/SJU Alumni Meet … set a career-best and took 7^th place in the shot put at the St. Olaf Tostrud Classic with a mark of 10.65m (34’11.5”). 

High School: A 2023 Graduate of Saint Augustine's College, Smith participated in softball, basketball, and track and field for six years. Her accomplishments in track and field include, placing 1st-3rd in meets for Shot Put and Discus and earning medals for these events. She is looking forward to achieving many proud moments during her collegiate-athlete career. 

Personal: The daughter of Rhinia and Christopher Smith, Christian has two siblings: Osmana Knowles and Jaelyn Bethel. In her free time she enjoys singing, listening to music, sports, cooking, and theater. Christian is a Nursing major and a Psychology minor at CSB/SJU. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because of the exposure to the athletic world and the opportunities to meet other athletes,
