High School: Chelsea is a 2017 graduate of Mankato West High School. She competed in tennis for six years, gymnastics for five years, and track for four years. She was a Big-9 All-Conference player in tennis and was named Most Improved. She was named the most versatile athlete and was a state qualifier in pole vault.

Personal: Chelsea is a daughter of Scott and Michelle Schaffer, and has a twin sister, Lindsey, who also competes on the track team. She loves trying new things and is excited to continue to get to do something she loves in college. She is undecided on her major but plans to minor in Studio Arts.
