2009:  Very strong hitter … has a smooth glove at first base.

High School:  A 2008 New Ulm High School, Wieneke was coached by Krisit Anderson … participated in volleyball (four years), basketball (four years), and softball (4 years) during her athletic career at New Ulm … member of the South Central Conference champion softball team in 2008 … was named All Conference, All State Honorable Mention, and All State Academic in softball … also participated in the Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches' Association All-Star Series … member of the South Central Conference champion volleyball team in 2007 and 2008 … received All Conference in 2007 and 2008 for volleyball along with All Area and All State Academic … also a participant in the Minnesota Volleyball All-Star Game … was named All State Academic in basketball … received Female Athlete of the Year for New Ulm High School.

Personal:  Daughter of Joan and Paul Wieneke of New Ulm, MN … enjoys rollerblading, scrapbooking, and spending time with friends and family … majoring in biology/pre-physical therapy.

Proudest moment of her softball career: 
"Competing in the section finals with my team during playoffs my senior year."

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete?
"Being able to balance academics and athletics with a group of women who share the same passion that I have."
