High School: A 2010 graduate of Maple Grove High School, Kessler was coached by Matt Schoen and participated in swimming (four years) during her athletic career at Maple Grove. Kessler was an All-State, All-Conference, and All-American Academic.

Personal: Kessler is the daughter of Jean and Joe Kessler. Her father, sister Samantha, who swims for CSB, aunts, uncles and cousins attended CSB/SJU. Kessler enjoys going to the cabin, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. She is majoring in business management.
