Biography

2014-15: Swam career-bests in the 100 back (1:08.15) and 200 back (2:29.25) and 50 free (27.18) at the St. Thomas Invite and in the 50 back (34.45) at the Carleton dual ... recorded 13 top-20 finishes ... took fifth in the 50 backstroke at the Carleton dual on Jan. 24.

2013-14: Competed in three meets ... took eighth in the 100 backstroke at the Hamline Invite on Nov. 9 ... studied abroad and did not compete in the spring semester.

2012-13: Swam in 12 meets ... swam career-bests in the 200 IM (2:33.16) at the MIAC Invite and the 400 IM (5:31.80) at the Morningside dual ... ended the year with 18 top-20 finishes.

2011-12: First year ... swam career-bests in the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle races as well as the 100 and 200 butterfly ... won the 200 butterfly at the MIAC Invite ... recorded 11 top-10 finishes.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Providence Academy, Maguire was coached by Katie Suedbeck and participated in swimming (four years) and track and field (one year). Maguire was named team MVP her junior year as well as All-Conference Honorable Mention.  She was received the honor of being named team captain her senior year. 

Personal: Maguire is the daughter of Donna Severson and Gerard Maguire of Hamel, Minn. She enjoys swimming, piano, and dance. She is majoring in chemistry and Hispanic studies.
