Elise (Genereux) Morell '12 returns to for her third year as the team's diving coach starting in the 2023-24 season.
Morell, a 2012 CSB grad, competed as a diver for Saint Benedict all four years of her college career. She qualified for the MIAC Championships in the one- and three-meter diving competitions all four years, and finished 12th on both boards as a senior in 2012. She scored points for the Bennies on both boards three of her four years at the conference meet. She also served as a team captain as a senior in 2011-12.
After graduating, Morell coached the boys' and girls' diving squads at St. Cloud Apollo High School for seven seasons. Her teams won numerous sportsmanship awards in her seven years, and the program made tremendous growth.
Morell started diving in seventh grade for Watertown-Mayer/Delano. She graduated from CSB with a mathematics major and a secondary education minor. She currently teaches math at Apollo and is working towards her master's degree in learning design and technology from Saint Mary's University.
