Biography

High School: A 2009 graduate of Lourdes High School, Torchia was coached by Myron Glass and participated in cross country (six years), nordic skiing (six years) and track and field (six years) during her athletic career at Lourdes High School. Torchia was named All-State in cross country and All-State Academic in track, as well as an All-Conference champion. She was named MVP in cross country and track and is a three sport letter winner.

Personal: Torchia is the daughter of Patricia and Michael Torchia of Rochester, Minn. She enjoys painting, photography, and traveling. Her sister, Katy, ran cross country and track for CSB.  Torchia is majoring in environmental studies and economics with a minor in art.

What is your proudest moment of your career? 
"Crossing the finish line at the Fall Finale after accomplishing a personal best time and knowing that I met all my goals for the season.”

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? 
"The ability and opportunity to balance academics and athletics with a group of dedicated and incredible women that share the same passions that I do.”
