Previous School: Ellens played in 20 games and averaged 2.7 points and 1.1 rebounds per game as a first year at St. Kate’s ... finished with 12 assists and nine steals ... scored a career-high 13 points against Crown on Nov. 21 ... pulled down four rebounds against Augsburg on Feb. 1.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Sauk Centre High School, Ellens was coached by Scott Bergman. She played four years of volleyball, basketball and softball. She earned all-conference honors in basketball as a senior and was named a team captain. In softball, Ellens earned all-conference accolades her sophomore through senior seasons and was a two-time team captain.

Personal: Ellens is the daughter of Grace and Mike Ellens. She has two brothers, Jesse and Jon, and Jesse also attended CSB|SJU. Ellens enjoys sports and being with family and friends. At CSB|SJU, she is majoring in biology with a minor in exercise and sports science.
