1995 Season Review

Cross country is coached by Ellen Carpenter. The team’s manager is Cathy Fredick. The Blazer cross country was full of team and individual highlights throughout the the fall campaign. CSB began the season with a fifth place finish among a field of 14 teams in the UW-Riverfalls Invitational and then came in fourth place at the St. Olaf Invitational. In the conference championships, CSB crossed the finish line in fifth place. Academically, the team was tied for fifth place in the nation with the highest grade-point average. Individually, sophomore Missy Petersen earned a return trip to the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships, after finishing in second place at the Central Region meet.
