ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict athletic department celebrated the accomplishments of the 2025-26 athletic year in May with its annual student-athlete celebration. Twelve Bennies were announced as finalists for the annual CSB Athlete of the Year award, presented to the top athlete of the season in each sport.

Kali Jones (Annandale, Minn.) was named CSB volleyball's finalist for the award.
Jones was named AVCA All-Region IX and All-MIAC after leading the Bennies back to the national tournament and their second MIAC playoff title in as many years. She became the program's 32nd All-American when she was named AVCA honorable mention at the end of the season.
She played in 103 sets over 28 matches and totaled a team-leading 278 kills and 50 service aces. She also posted 363 digs, 36 blocks and 12 assists. Jones collected 12 kill-dig double-doubles and reached a career-high 25 digs at Macalester on Oct. 3.
She was named the department's and the MIAC's Athlete of the Week on Oct. 20 after hitting .383 (17-for-29). She had 17 kills, 17 digs and four service aces in a 3-1 road victory over Saint Mary's.
Jones averaged 8.5 kills, 17.5 digs, 2.5 aces and 2.0 blocks per game through the Bennies' four-match playoff run. She had double-digit digs in every match, including 23 at Gustavus Adolphus in the MIAC semifinals.
CSB volleyball made its second-consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament after winning its fourth MIAC playoff title and second in as many years. The Bennies tied for second in the conference with a 9-2 record (21-7 overall).
