ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict athletic department celebrated the accomplishments of the 2025-26 athletic year in May with its annual student-athlete celebration. Twelve Bennies were announced as finalists for the annual CSB Athlete of the Year award, presented to the top athlete of the season in each sport.

Addison Stephani '26 (Blaine, Minn./Spring Lake Park) was named CSB soccer's candidate for the honor.
Stephani was Bennie soccer's lone All-MIAC selection after leading the team with seven goals and 15 points (7g, 1a). She was named the department's Athlete of the Week on Sept. 29 after scoring three goals in two MIAC wins.
She appeared in 18 games with 16 starts, ranking 10th in the conference for goal scoring. She also led the Bennies with 49 shots, 23 shots on goal and two game-winning goals, including her heroics on senior day vs, Concordia, scoring the only goal of the game in minute 82. She tallied 10 shots in each of her final two games as a Bennie.
Stephani graduated with her degree in nursing and was named CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-MIAC this season. She finished her career with 29 points (11g, 7a) across 66 games.
CSB tied for sixth in the MIAC with a 5-6 record (7-11 overall) and missed the MIAC playoffs on a tiebreaker.
