ORLANDO, Fla. – The College of Saint Benedict tennis team (1-1) will travel to Orlando, Fla., for four nonconference matches during its spring break trip on March 16-20. The Bennies open play against Edgewood (13-5) on March 16, followed by matches against UW-La Crosse on March 17, Hamilton College on March 19 and Crown on March 20.
Following the trip, Saint Benedict returns home to host Gustavus Adolphus on March 28 at Sta-Fit in Sartell, Minn.
Scouting Opponents
Saint Benedict begins the trip against Edgewood (13-5), which most recently defeated Bethany Lutheran, 7-0, after a narrow 4-3 loss to Macalester.
The Bennies will then face UW-La Crosse (9-1). Saint Benedict has met the Eagles twice previously, falling 7-0 on March 17, 2025, and 5-4 on March 27, 2011. UW-La Crosse suffered its first loss of the season March 1, dropping a 4-3 decision to Bethel.
Hamilton (3-1) holds a 1-0 all-time record against Saint Benedict, posting a 7-0 win on March 21, 2025. In its most recent outing, Hamilton fell to No. 10 Bowdoin, 6-1.
The Bennies conclude the trip against Crown (0-5). Saint Benedict has won both previous meetings in the series, including a 7-0 victory on March 21, 2025, and a 9-0 decision on March 2, 2018, in Sartell, Minn.

Season Review
Hamline 5, CSB 2
Saint Benedict (0-1, 0-1 MIAC) opened the season with a 5-2 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss to Hamline (4-3, 1-1 MIAC) on Feb. 15 at Sta-Fit.
Huber (Sioux Falls, S.D.) impressed in her collegiate debut, rallying for a win at No. 1 singles with a 0-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) comeback over Vanessa Pham. Collins (Brainerd, Minn.) earned the Bennies' other point at No. 4 singles, defeating Christine Muller 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.
CSB 5, St. Olaf 2
Saint Benedict used a dominant singles performance to record a 5-2 MIAC victory over St. Olaf on Feb. 16 at Sta-Fit.
St. Olaf claimed two of the three doubles matches, while the Bennies' lone doubles win came at No. 3, where Collins (Brainerd, Minn.) and Erdal (Brainerd, Minn.) earned a 6-2 victory over Evelyn Smiley and Norah Brusco.
In singles play, Saint Benedict won five of six matches. Huber (Sioux Falls, S.D.) fell 6-2, 6-1 to Berns at No. 1, but the Bennies swept the remaining positions.
Marohl started the run at No. 2 with a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) win over Clift. Yahn added a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Mads Hockmuth at No. 3. Collins rallied at No. 4 to defeat Smiley 2-6, 7-6 (7-4), 1-0 (11-9).
Labenski followed with another comeback at No. 5, topping Charlotte Sloane 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5). Rahne (Hutchinson, Minn.) closed the match at No. 6 with the first collegiate victory of her career, a 6-4, 6-0 win over Brusco.
