ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – Excellence in the pool continues to be matched by excellence in the classroom for the College of Saint Benedict swim and dive team.
For the 15th consecutive year, the Bennies earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors, recognizing outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2025 semester. Saint Benedict was one of 709 teams representing 414 institutions across all levels of collegiate swimming and diving to receive the distinction.
The honor reflects a team-wide commitment to academics, as programs must post a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher to qualify. Saint Benedict exceeded that standard with an impressive 3.56 team GPA, continuing a long tradition of scholarly success under the direction of head coach
Mandy Wolvert.
Nationwide, 16,421 student-athletes contributed to Scholar All-America recognition this fall, underscoring the academic impact of swimming and diving across NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as NAIA, junior college, and community college programs. The Scholar All-America Team award, presented by Fitter and Faster Swim Camps, is the highest academic honor bestowed by the CSCAA.
