BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- After recording the first hat trick of her career, Presley Kraemer of the College of Saint Benedict hockey team, has been named The House / St. Cloud Orthopedics CSB Athlete of the Week.

It is the first MIAC Offensive Player of the Week honor for Kraemer, who is the 28th CSB player to earn MIAC weekly honors and the first since Emily Wendorf  on Jan. 20, 2025.

In Saint Benedict's 6-1 win over Lake Forest on the road on Sunday (Nov. 30), Kraemer scored three goals as the Bennies improved to 5-2 on the season. Kraemer now has 15 career goals with the career-first hat trick, which is the first by a Bennies' player since Aurora Opsahl against Lake Forest on Jan. 4, 2025.

Kraemer scored her first two goals of the season in a one-minute span on the first period to give CSB a 3-0 lead. She scored her first goal at 18:29 off assists from Helena Siska (Naperville, Ill.) and Camryn Hargreaves (Minnetrista, Minn.). About a minute later, she tallied her second goal off assists from Emily Wendorf (Minnetrista, Minn.) and Hargreaves. She added a power play goal at 7:25 of the second period, using an assist from senior Jamie Bimberg (Chanhassen, Minn.) for a 5-0 lead.

Led by Kraemer, the Bennies, which has won five of its last six games, return to action with a home-and-home MIAC series against Bethel on Dec. 5 in St. Paul, followed by a Dec. 6 matchup at Ritsche Arena in St. Cloud.
