Kraemer's career-first hat trick provides CSB Hockey with a 6-1 win over Lake Forest

With victory head coach Lindsay Macy has 42 career wins - most in program history

LAKE FOREST, ILL. — Presley Kraemer delivered a career-best performance on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 30), recording her first collegiate hat trick to power the College of Saint Benedict hockey team to a 6–1 nonconference win over Lake Forest at the Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.

St. Benedict, now 5–2, completed a weekend sweep of the Foresters (6–4) behind Kraemer's explosive outing. The senior forward from Brooklyn Park, Minn., who now has 15 career goals, scored three goals on a team-high five shots. Her hat trick was the program's first since Aurora Opsahl netted three—also against Lake Forest—on Jan. 4, 2024. CSB's six-goal output was its most since a 6–2 win over St. Catherine on Jan. 17, 2025. The two wins by CSB this weekend pushed head coach Lindsay Macy's career total to 42, most by a coach in school history.

Kraemer wasn't the only Bennie on the board. Ella Tuccitto (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) scored her second of the year and sixth of her career, while first-year Helena Siska (Naperville, Minn.) added her second of the season as well as two assists. Emily Wendorf (Minnetrista, Minn.) opened the scoring with her second goal of the year and the eighth of her career.

In net, first-year goaltender Lexi Badali (St. John, Ind.) turned in a steady performance, stopping 26 shots and allowing just one goal. She made 12 saves in the opening period and 10 more in the third stanza. As a result, her goals against average falls to 1.82 and saves percentage to .932.

CSB was solid in the faceoff circle, winning 30 draws. Tuccitto finished 11-for-21 while Siska went 9-for-18.

Game Summary -
Wendorf set the tone early, scoring at 6:46 of the first period off feeds from Tuccitto and junior Shae Stinnett (North Oaks, Minn.). Kraemer followed with an even-strength tally at 18:29, assisted by Camryn Hargreaves (Minnetrista, Minn.) and Siska. Just over a minute later, she struck again—another even-strength goal—off assists from Wendorf and Hargreaves, giving CSB a 3–0 lead.

Tuccitto pushed the margin to 4–0 midway through the second period, scoring off a setup from Stinnett, who recorded her third assist of the season. Kraemer completed her hat trick at 7:25 on a power play, with Siska picking up her fourth assist of the year and senior Jamie Bimberg adding her first.

Lake Forest broke through at 7:12 of the third when Gracia Munoz scored, but the Bennies responded at 13:33. Siska capped the scoring with her second goal of the season, assisted by sophomore Merrill Delich (Plymouth, Minn.)—her fourth of the year—and Tana Carlson (Anchorage, Alaska), who earned the first assist of her career.

CSB finished with a 36–27 shot advantage, including a dominant 15–4 margin in the second period.

The Bennies return to action with a home-and-home MIAC series against Bethel on Dec. 5 in St. Paul, followed by a Dec. 6 matchup at Ritsche Arena in St. Cloud.
