LEXINGTON, Ken. --
Kali Jones of the (RV) College of Saint Benedict volleyball team, who guided the Bennies to a second straight NCAA DIII Tournament appearance, has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Region first team.
In the AVCA announcement, a total of 14 All-Region team members and six honorable mention selections were made for each of the 10 regions. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 200 student-athletes who made All-Region represent 96 different schools.
Jones becomes the second straight player from CSB and 37
th named overall to the AVCA All-Region first team (region nine)

. In 2025, the junior from Annandale, Minn., led the Bennies (21-7) to its second straight MIAC Tournament Championship and second straight NCAA DIII Tourney berth (25
th overall).
A junior elementary education major, Jones recently earned her first All-MIAC honor after receiving honorable mention in 2024. The 2024 Academic All-MIAC honoree ranks among the conference leaders in several categories — 12th in kills per set (2.69), eight in digs per set (3.76), and third in service aces (0.49 per set). She was named the MIAC Player of the Week on Oct. 25.
Jones has recorded 12 double-doubles this season and 34 in her career. She set a personal best with 25 digs against Macalester on Oct. 3 and posted a career-high .583 hitting percentage vs. Salem State on Sept. 6. Jones had a high of 17 kills vs. Saint Mary's on Oct. 25 in hitting percentage at .483 with 17 digs. In the setback to No. 21 WashU in the NCAA DIII Regional at Oshkosh, she had nine kills, 17 digs and a service ace. As a result she now has 835 career kills (2.75/set), 941digs (3.08/set), 94 blocks (0.31/set) and 115 service aces (0.38/set).
