ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Five different players scored goals, including 
Avery LeMieur's first career tally, as the College of Saint Benedict hockey team (4-2-2) rolled to a 5-0 win over Northland College (0-4-0) on Tuesday (Nov. 26) at the Ritsche Arena.
With the victory, the Bennies improved to 4-2-2 overall and now stand 4-0-1 over its last five games. The two teams will be back again on the ice on Wednesday (Nov. 27) at the Ritsche Arena.

Emma Rooks, and 
Camryn Hargreaves tallied goals for St. Benedict, which now sits 2-0-2 at home.
St. Benedict dominated play with a 60-to-7 shots edge, which included converting its only power play while stopping four by the Lumber Jills. Defensively, the Bennies were sharp as they kept the Lumber Jills out of the offensive zone for most of the night as sophomore goalie 
Delaney Norman recorded her first shutout of the season and fourth of her career. She registered seven saves, including four in the opening period.
Sophomore 
Shae Stinnett recorded her third goal of the season (5
th of her career) with the unassisted power play goal providing CSB with a 1-0 lead at 9:35. Later senior 
Aurora Opsahl had her second goal of the season and 32
nd of her career at 14:55. With her 32
nd goal she  is now tied for sixth all-time in CSB history with Kelly Wegwerth (1998-99), Brigette Miller (2014-18) and Erin Baldwin (2003-07). She now has 59 career points which is seventh all-time. The even strength goal resulted from assists by first-year 
Skylar Salscheider (fourth of the season) and first-year 
Greer Hardacre (2
nd of the season).
At 16:37 of the second period, LeMieur recorded her first career goal. LeMieur's even strength tally was unassisted and pushed CSB's lead to 3-0.
In the third period, the Bennies scored twice for a 5-0 advantage. At the 10:30 mark, senior 
Emma Rooks had her first goal of the season and 21
st h of her career. Assisting on the even strength goal was first-year 
Jorja Jusczak (2
nd of season) and LeMieur (second of her career). First-year 
Camryn Hargreaves rounded out the scoring with an even strength goal at 13:33. Hargreaves, who now has a team-leading four goals, was assisted on the play by sophomore 
Emily Wendorf (fourth of the year). Hargreaves and Opsahl had seven shots although Hardacre had a team-high nine with five by Stinnett.
CSB had a clear edge in faceoffs, winning 36-of-53 attempts for 67.9 percent. Junior 
Chloe Lewis won 90.9 percent of her faceoffs (10-of-11) while junior 
Mia Lopez converted 57.1 percent (8-of-14).
