ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- In a pair of competitions in Minneapolis (swimming) and Northfield, Minn. (diving), the College of Saint Benedict had a series of solid performances.
In the Dodd Road Diving Invitational at Carleton College, senior Emi Quill continued a late season surge in performance. She was third in the 1-meter-11 dive program with 413.25 points. Also in the competition,
Mikayla Haskamp was 10th at 372.30 and followed by
Claire Hippen, 16th at 336.55 and
Sabrina Buffetta, 20th, 325.00.
On the 3M board - 11 dives, Quill was also third at 405.20 with Hippen, 14th, 345.15; Buffetta, 15th, 336.05 and Haskamp, 16th, 330.65.
In swimming at the First Chance (Minnesota Challenge), the Bennies had an eighth place finish by the 400 free relay with a clocking of 3:56.48. Team members on the relay included
Katie Brewer,
Grace Weberg,
Maria Beck and
Megan Pattee.Â
Also at the competition,
Maria Beck was 16th in the 200 breaststroke in 2:41.54 and 19th in the 200 backstroke in 2:26.04. In the 100 freestyle,
Grace Weberg was 32nd in 57.84 followed by
Megan Pattee, 39th, 58.48; and Katie Rewer, 50th, 59.85.
