2021-22: Competed in four meets after studying abroad in the fall ... swam career-best 100 back and 100 breaststroke times in February at the Minnesota Challenge ... recorded a pair of top-10 finishes.

2020-21: Competed in four meets as a sophomore in a COVID-shortened season ... recorded a career-best time in the 100 breaststroke at the St. Kate's Quad ... recorded four top-10 finishes.

2019-20: Competed in eight meets as a first year ... recorded career-best times in the 50 and 100 freestyle to end the season at the Minnesota Challenge ... finished the year with four top-10 finishes.

High School: A 2019 graduate of Champlin Park High School, Kate participated in swimming for six years, track and field for one year, and trap shooting for four years. She also participated in NHS, Model United Nations, Pep Band, Jazz Band, and German Club. In high school, Katie earned two varsity letters in swimming, was a 2018 varsity top-16 alternate, and earned 2018-19 All-American Academic honors. She was a captain of her team in 2018. Kate  was the Novice State Champion for trap shooting in 2017.
 
Personal: Katie is the daughter of Mary and Leland Brewer. She is a nutrition major with minors in chemistry and environmental studies. She enjoys rock climbing, going to concerts, and watching Netflix. In her free time, Kate enjoys hiking, eating, and reading. At CSB, she is majoring in chemistry and nutrition. She loves getting to meet new people and have support from her teammates.
